Once upon a...baby shower

A storybook-themed baby shower for the books, honoring mommy-to-be, Kiran.

In lieu of gifts, guests were asked to bring their favorite storybooks to shower baby Jazaa with her first collection of books.

The venue, Novecento Midtown Miami, a casual but elegant European style bistro, provided the perfect setting.

Table centerpieces were comprised of books and book props from Ikea's KVACK storytelling collection.   

To keep to the story-book theme, guests' were quizzed on how well they know children's literature with the "Name that Story Book!" game. The answers were popular titles to children's storybooks. 

Alternating white and pink animal-cracker-filled favor boxes were the perfect add-on to the table scape and a treat with which to bid our guests farewell.
